Cedera Musculoskeletal pada Peserta Lari Marathon dan Korelasi Terhadap Faktor Usia dan Jenis Kelamin

Olahraga berlari marathon merupakan jenis aktivitas fisik yang banyak digemari oleh masyarakat dan memiliki nilai sport tourim yang cukup tinggi. Olahraga berlari merupakan aktifitas fisik yang sering menimbulkan cedera akibat dari overused atau aktivitas yang berlebihan dan memiliki tingkat resiko untuk cedera fisik yang tinggi akibat dari overused sehingga dapat memicu munculnya trauma atau injury pada jaringan musculoskeletal. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengetahui korelasi antara usia dan jenis kelamin terhadap cedera pada sistem musculoskeletal. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitan cross sectional dengan variabel independent berupa usia dan jenis kelamin serta variabel dependent yaitu cedera pada sistem musculoskeletal. Hasil dari penelitian ini didapatkan responden sebanyak 97 peserta dalam event olahraga Kediri Half Marathon pada tahun 2023 dan 2024. Hasil uji statistik didapatkan cedera didominasi hamstring spasme (26,6%), quadriceps spasme (23,7%), gastrocnemius spasme (21,6%), ankle sprapin (4,1%), lower back pain (3,1), groin spasme (2,1%), dan tenditis tendon patela, condromalacia patela, peroneus spasme, axila pain syndrome, dan illio tibial band syndrome sebanyak (1,0%). hasil uji signfikansi dengan menggunakan Chi-square didapatkan hasil pada variabel usia (0,590) dan variabel jenis kelamin (0,896) lebih besar dibandingkan dengan nilai signifikansi (0,05). Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini adalah tidak ada korelasi antara variabel usia dan jenis kelamin terhadap munculnya cedera pada sistem musculoskeletal.
